Honey Badgers Football Club

The Badgers went into last night needing a win against the league leaders. We went 1-0 down but quickly replied with an equalizer, then added three more to finish 4-2 — goals from Dani, Toni and Ash. Top of the table with one game to go. Win it, and we're champions.

Nobody told these guys their knees should've retired by now. The Badgers took on ESA Coaches on a Monday — because weekends are for amateurs — dominated possession, piled on the shots, and lost 1-0 to a single defensive slip. Shot the whole thing on a 40-year-old lens to match the squad. We go again.

Great comeback win for the Badgers against Terminators. Intense game. Went a goal down but bounced back strong with three. Proper fight and spirit shown. Thanks Terminators for the game, great competition 👏

Back in May, the thought of forming a mini Honey Badgers team began. We gathered a group of 11 year old boys to join the Nationwide Pesta Sukan 5 aside Football Tournament (U12 Category).

Fast forward to July 13th, Honey Badgers Junior was born. Our journey was fraught with obstacles: a key player sidelined by a knee injury, three more struck by a virus just days before the competition, and being placed in one of the toughest groups imaginable. But true to the spirit of the Honey Badger, we rose above adversity. Against all odds, we clawed our way into the round of 16, battling fiercely and ultimately losing 1-0 to a team that marched to the finals.

Boys, you have made us proud, showcasing the relentless spirit of a badger. Our story is just beginning. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Honey Badger Juniors.
