Huayi Wushu was founded in 2007 by Mr. Zhuang Zhiqiang, a representative of the Singapore team.
Zhuang Zhiqiang has represented Singapore in many international events, including the World Wushu Championships and the Southeast Asian Games.

Huayi Wushu Student Tan En Jie has made a notable achievement at the 5th World Taijiquan Championship in Burgas, Bulgaria, clinching two Bronze Medals in Optional Taiji Fan and 42 Style Taijiquan.
