🎨 Part 3: A Meaningful Finale – Art, Culture & Lasting Memories 🍂🖌️

On our second last day in Wuhu, we explored the Wuhu Arts & Crafts Factory—a hands-on cultural experience that brought out our creative side!

Each student had the chance to create their own iron-painted ginkgo leaf, a symbolic artistic craft rooted in local tradition. Every players brought home stunning pieces of art—and a lasting memory of our journey. 🌿🎨

This experience reminded us that learning goes beyond the court. We have come home with more than just polished skills. We’re bringing back lasting memories and unforgettable incredible experiences. ❤️

🌍 Part 2: Beyond the Court – Cultural & Scenic Immersion 🍜🚢

Beyond the badminton court, the team got a rare peek behind the sport at the Hualing Shuttlecock Factory, where we learned how shuttlecocks are made—right from raw feathers to finished product! 🪶🏭

Wuhu also treated us to its rich cultural and culinary heritage— flavourful authentic Huizhou cuisine, local delicacies, and warm hospitality. 🥢

The adventure continued with a scenic cruise along the Yangtze River, where we admired the majestic No. 3 Yangtze Bridge and soaked in the breathtaking nighttime views. 🌉

And of course, no celebration is complete without a resounding Singapore-style “Yum Seng!”—our festive toast to friendship, unity, and well-wishes! 🍻🇸🇬

Our team just returned from an unforgettable 6D5N Study Tour in Wuhu, Anhui Province, where sports, culture, and friendship came together in the most amazing way! We’re still buzzing with gratitude and inspiration!

📍 Part 1: The Journey Begins – Training & Shared Passion 🇸🇬🏸

Wuhu Sports Bureau, Wuhu Badminton Association, Hualing Badminton Factory, and Xingcheng Sports – this trip wouldn’t have been possible without your incredible support. 🙏🏼

One of the biggest highlights was training under China’s renowned coach Mr. Chen Weihua – a mentor to Lin Dan and a coach to several Olympic champions. He made a special trip from Fujian to guide and inspire our players! We trained, learned, and grew on the court.

We also enjoyed a warm and competitive friendly exchange match with a local club in Wuhu. The spirit of badminton shone brightly on both sides! The players exchanged gifts symbolising goodwill and deepened ties. 💫
