The older I get, the less important goals like aesthetics and how heavy I can lift means to me. It becomes more about longevity, moving well and being capable of doing cool and adventurous stuff like hiking down and up a volcanic crater in an island off the coast of Portugal đľđš.
Of course, train for whatever reason you want to! This is just mine đŞ!

SHOULD YOU DIET ON A HOLIDAY?
I personally think that certain types of people definitely SHOULD be!
1. If you WANT to diet, you should! Maybe you enjoy the process, and itâs a big part of your lifestyle. More power to you! Do it if you want to đŞ.
2. If you are a competitive athlete who has to make a certain weight for a competition. You signed up for the competition, you do what it takes, including dieting on a holiday. I personally had to do this too while on holiday in Raja Ampat this year. Tough but it was my own choice.
3. If you are obese / overweight and it is actually affecting your health. If the doctors have been warning you to watch your diet, then you definitely should, regardless whether youâre on holiday or not. Your body unfortunately doesnât care whether youâre overseas or not. Listen to your doctors and your nutritionist because it might literally mean life or death
For the rest of people who are generally healthy and active, I personally donât think you should be trying too hard to diet but instead try to enjoy the full local experience of food and culture. Ultimately life is short and traveling is a great privilege. Enjoy it while it lasts!
Everything I ate in a day as a Personal Trainer in London đŹđ§
I had a great time exploring London on holiday and while the foods werenât the highest in protein and lowest in calories, I did not care.
IMO, if you are travelling and itâs your first time in a new country, itâs best to donât overthink things and enjoy the experience! Thatâs what travelling is all about.
Diet can resume back at HOME, where I will be majority of the time.

HOW MUCH OIL DOES WOK HEY ACTUALLY USE?
So many of my trainees have sent me a video where it was said that WOK HEY Singapore uses up to 60ml of oil per dish! That is indeed a lot of calories and far from what they have stated on their website. So I decided to find out what is going on!
I managed to get behind the scenes and it turns out that Wok hey uses 20 ml and 10 ml for their standard and less oil options respectively! This is also standardised across all outlets. (60 ml would be 3-6x of that amount!!!)
Itâs pretty cool to find out how much oil is actually used. Also, if you all want to make healthier choices, try asking for brown rice, cauliflower rice, and less salt and oil!
New 10km PR in the books today! Itâs been about 3 months since I started running again and that first run was PAINFUL. I was slow, out of breath and everything hurt the next day. However, I had a goal, training plan and I stuck with it!
Fast forward 3 months later, I am running almost daily without much joint soreness and have hit a solid lifetime 10km PR! Like I always say, anything is possible as long as you believe in yourself and stay consistent with the plan!
Hereâs to all of you trying hard in your own journey, keep trucking on!
One of the most important reasons to actually train all aspects of fitness is to be HARDER TO KILL and I do mean that literally.
I almost got knocked over by a car yesterday who didnât pay attention to the road and I barely managed to jump out of the way. The whole incident left me shooked but I was very thankful that I had the awareness, reaction time and power to jump out of the way quickly. And of course, you gain these physical attributes by being a trained individual.
So keep training and it might actually save your life (literally) some day!
Disclaimer: I probably wouldnât have died if I got knocked down in this incident, but he was definitely driving fast enough that I would be in crutches / wheelchair today if I got hit.
I have been wanting to eat more Greek yogurt (for health) for the longest time but I always end up buying and throwing away the tubs and cups. For some reason, they are a big hassle to eat.
These pouches have been a game changer for me though! Super convenient and easy to eat in a pinch! Also a good amount of protein and protein weightage.
I have been enjoying the farmersunionofficial.sg Blueberry and Vanilla flavor (not the strawberry though). Please recommend more brands for me to try!
TOP 5 THINGS WORTH THE MONEY FOR BUSY PEOPLE LOOKING TO GET FIT AND LEAN
1. Air Fryer
A good air fryer mix cooking so much easier. They are generally easy to use, fuss free and inexpensive. I love my ninja air fryer because it allows me to cook a wide variety of food from steak to salmon to potatoes and so on.
2. Whole Nutritious Foods
If youâre too busy to even use the air fryer, pay for good food instead. This might be the most important investment because we all know that eating well is a key to getting leaner. While it definitely will be more expensive than cooking on your own, you are paying a premium for the convenience.
3. Dishwasher
Chores can be pretty mundane and sap your energy. My dishwasher has been around for three years and has really helped me save a lot of time and even mental capacity, because I hate washing the dishes. More time freed up, means more time for myself.
4. Clothes Dryer
Same concept as the dishwasher. The dryer helps me do less chores overall giving me more time for other pursuits like my own health and fitness.
5. A Good Coach
If you are too busy and have no idea how to train, figuring things out on the go is probably not how you want to spend your time. Investing in a good coach will save a lot of time and help expedite progress!
Ultimately, what we want to do is to spend our money on things that can free up time for ourself materialistic things that donât add value to our lives! đ
Dreams are cheap. Dreams are easy.
Goals are hard. Goals require sacrifice.
Make sure youâre not just dreaming and go out there and earn it. đŞ
