Congratulations to our Ryuei Ryu Singapore national athletes, Senpai Shannon Leong and Senpai Javier Yung on their fantastic performances!

Senpai Shannon narrowly missed out on a Bronze medal in the Female Senior Kata category. She put on a strong showing, securing a victory over Cambodia 🇰🇭 and fighting incredibly close matches against formidable opponents from Vietnam 🇻🇳 and the Philippines 🇵🇭 - both of whom are AKF (Asian Karate Federation) Bronze, SEA Games and SEAKF (Southeast Asian Karate Federation) Gold medalists.

​​Competing in the Kumite under 67kg for both the U-21 and Senior categories, Senpai Javier earned a 5th-place finish in the U-21 division, where he faced off with strong opponents from Vietnam 🇻🇳 and the Philippines 🇵🇭.

​Leading the team, Sensei Bruce Leong F**k Weng once again reprised his role as Singapore's national coach 🥋💪

Once again, well done to our Ryuei Ryu team!
