Regrouting works have been completed to the swimming pool, including replacement and patching of loose/missing mosaic tiles where possible.
Due to the limited quantity of matching existing mosaic tiles available, the remaining tiles were carefully reused and replaced at the more affected areas, followed by regrouting to restore the overall finishing.
The completed regrouted areas will now be left to properly cure and harden before cleaning, water filling and recommissioning of the swimming pool.

Swimming Pool Mosaic Repair and Regrouting Progress
As part of the repair works, we conducted a thorough inspection of the entire swimming pool and made every effort to salvage and reinstate as many loose or missing mosaic tiles as possible.
In total, our team replaced and patched more than 100 individual mosaic tiles across the pool walls and floor. However, the availability of matching original mosaic tiles was limited, and all available replacement pieces were eventually used.
For the remaining areas where mosaic tiles were loose or missing, and in accordance with the ownerβs request to control costs rather than proceed with a complete mosaic replacement, we made good the affected areas and applied grout as the final finish.
This approach provided a practical, cost-saving alternative to full retiling. Within the agreed scope and budget, our team made every effort to restore as much of the existing mosaic surface as possible and achieve the best practical finish.

Swimming Pool Construction Progress Update
Waterproofing works have been completed. The team is currently undertaking plastering and levelling works to the internal pool walls. Each surface is being carefully built up, straightened and aligned to provide a smooth, even substrate for the subsequent finishing and tiling works.
The wiring and conduits for the underwater pool lighting are also being neatly concealed within the pool walls, ensuring a clean appearance and reliable long-term performance.
Works are progressing steadily on site, with each stage being carried out with care and precision to achieve a high-quality, durable final result. πββοΈπ§

Completion of New Swimming Pool Wiring and Conduit Installation
The new electrical wiring and conduit installation for the swimming pool has been completed. The cables have been routed from the pool area to the pump room to facilitate connection to the underwater lighting system and associated pool equipment.
The cables have been neatly installed within protective conduits, providing a safe, orderly and durable electrical installation throughout the pool structure.
The conduits have been correctly positioned, securely fixed and cement-set to the swimming pool structure to prevent movement and provide additional mechanical protection prior to the commencement of subsequent finishing works.
Works completed include:
β’ Installation of new wiring for the swimming pool underwater lighting system
β’ Installation of protective conduits and trunking
β’ Routing of electrical cables from the swimming pool to the pump room
β’ Neat arrangement and protection of the electrical wiring
β’ Secure fixing and cement-setting of conduits along the pool structure
β’ Routing of cables into the pump room for final termination and connection
β’ Preparation for subsequent electrical testing and commissioning
The completed wiring infrastructure provides secure cable routing and adequate protection throughout the installation, with all cables properly brought into the pump room for final connection.
The cement-setting of the conduits ensures that the installation remains firmly secured and protected before waterproofing, screeding, tiling and other finishing works commence.
This work represents an important stage of the swimming pool refurbishment, providing a safe, orderly, durable and reliable electrical installation for the underwater lighting system.

High-End Bio Chamber Filtration Setup
Crafted with careful attention to detail, this bio chamber combines quality biological media with professional-grade filtration equipment to support efficient, consistent and dependable pond water treatment.
The multi-chamber design guides water through a series of dedicated filtration stages. Each chamber has a defined role, helping to remove suspended debris while creating valuable surface area for beneficial bacteria to establish and thrive.
Premium Japanese-style filter brushes, high-density filter mats and selected biological media have been arranged to encourage effective water contact throughout the system. The brushes help capture larger particles, while the layered mats provide finer mechanical filtration and support biological activity.
As the system matures, beneficial bacteria help process ammonia and nitrite, supporting more stable water conditions and a healthier environment for fish.
Robust pipework, valves and circulation connections have been installed to promote even water distribution, provide practical flow control and simplify future inspection, cleaning and maintenance.
Once fully commissioned, the bio chamber is designed to provide:
β’ Balanced mechanical and biological filtration
β’ Generous surface area for beneficial bacteria colonisation
β’ Support for clearer, cleaner pond water
β’ Improved management of organic waste and suspended particles
β’ More consistent biological conditions for fish
β’ Efficient movement of water through multiple filtration stages
β’ Practical access for servicing and maintenance
β’ Reliable filtration performance built for long-term use
More than a basic filter chamber, this is a thoughtfully constructed biological filtration system designed around quality materials, dependable components and practical long-term performance.

Work Progress Update β Swimming Pool Waterproofing & Underwater Lighting
The swimming pool waterproofing works have been completed across the pool floor, walls, and all required internal surfaces.
Following completion of the waterproofing, our team is proceeding with the installation and routing of new electrical wiring cables for the underwater pool lights.
Where required, the existing wiring at the light points is being carefully removed. New cables are then being routed to each underwater light location before the subsequent finishing works commence.
This sequence ensures that the underwater lighting system is properly prepared and securely installed while preserving the integrity of the completed waterproofing works.
Current progress:
β’ Waterproofing works β Completed
β’ Preparation of underwater light points β In progress
β’ Laying of new underwater light wiring cables β In progress
β’ Testing of wiring and light connections β To follow
β’ Final pool finishing works β To follow
The works are progressing systematically to ensure that the pool waterproofing and underwater lighting installation are completed properly before proceeding to the next stage.

Following completion of the swimming pool upgrading works, the grouting stage has now been successfully completed, marking a key milestone towards final handover.
Our team has also commenced initial system commissioning. A total of 250 kg of swimming pool salt (10 Γ 25 kg bags) was added to establish the correct salinity for the salt chlorination system. The filtration and circulation systems were then operated to ensure full dissolution and even distribution of the salt throughout the pool.
During commissioning, we carried out functional testing of the pool pumps, filtration plant, and associated controls to confirm correct operation. All underwater lighting and electrical controls were also individually tested following the recent rewiring and upgrade works.
With grouting completed, the pool filled, salt dosing completed, and all major mechanical and electrical systems tested, the project has now entered its final commissioning phase ahead of handover.
