A short introduction clip for all incoming freshmen of year 2020/2021!
NUS Handball is a competitive team and the Women’s team is the 4-times defending champions for the annual Singapore University Games. Training is all-year round and sessions take place thrice a week, involving a mix of physical conditioning, agility and ball skills, as well as working on our game play. Alternatively, both the male and female teams host exposure sessions during our off-season periods for those who wish to experience the sport first-hand before committing.
Individually, we strive to be thinking players and often challenge ourselves to go beyond what we’re taught so trainings are bound to test your capabilities, but as a team, we foster a culture that supports and pushes each other to our maximum. On top of trainings, we also organise team gatherings to build a strong off-court relationship and it would be no surprise if your teammates end up being your anchor of support throughout your university life as it has been for many of the current members.
We welcome all experienced and inexperienced players, so if you’re interested to be part of the team or looking to find out when the exposure period will be, simply direct your queries to our instagram page and specify if you are looking to join the Men’s or Women’s team so that the respective Captains can respond.
