Mantra Yoga Singapore: The Chanting Path 🕉️
This is not a movement class. Mantra Yoga: The Chanting Path is 100% seated chanting — no asana, no flow, no physical postures at all. Just sacred sound, breath, and the vibration of mantra, rooted in classical Indian yogic tradition.
If you’re searching for a pure chanting class, mantra meditation, or Sanskrit chanting practice in Singapore, this is it.
Led by senior faculty Sunny S (M.Sc. Yoga, E-RYT 500).
🕉️ Every Sunday from 6 September
📍 ĀYU YOGA, Joo Chiat, Singapore
🕐 11:45 AM
No mat. No movement. No experience needed — just show up and chant.

We asked our yogis what they really want after class… 👀
The answer’s hiding in plain sight above. Solve the riddle, then read it backwards. 🔤✨
Drop your guess in the comments — get it right and you might just be sipping it with Sunny S himself. ☕

Meet Hannah ( 윤현아 Hannah )🌿
She’s part of the quiet magic of this community — showing up on her mat, week after week, and building something steady for herself in the process. Watching that kind of consistency unfold is exactly why we do this.
Thank you for being part of the ĀYU family, Hannah. We see you. 🤍

Aṣṭāṅga ≠ Aṣṭāṅga Vinyasa 👀
We hear these two used interchangeably all the time. They’re not the same thing.
Aṣṭāṅga (per Patañjali’s Yoga Sūtras) = a whole philosophy. 8 limbs. Āsana is just one of them.
Aṣṭāṅga Vinyasa = a specific modern method of practicing āsana, from Krishnamacharya → Pattabhi Jois. Fixed sequences, breath-linked movement.
One’s a path. The other’s one way of moving through a small part of it.
Doesn’t make your practice “wrong” either way — just nice to know what you’re actually doing 🙏

Every yoga style you love started as ONE root.
Hatha yoga isn’t just “another style” — it’s the origin story. The steady, breath-led foundation that eventually branched into the Vinyasa flow you sweat through, the Ashtanga sequence you memorized, the Iyengar alignment you obsess over, the Kundalini energy you chase, the Yin stillness you crave, and the Restorative rest you need.
Different branches. Same trunk. Same roots.
So next time someone asks “what’s the difference between all these yoga styles?” — now you know. It all comes back to Hatha.
Which branch are you practicing today? Drop it below 👇

Friday, 8 PM. The week finally exhales. 🕯️
We’re turning Happy Hour into something your nervous system will thank you for. Two ways to unwind — pick your path:
🎶 Sound Bath Therapy with Shin Huat ( Shin Huat ) — Pandan Valley
Let the bowls do the work. Deep tones, slow breath, that floaty feeling you can’t quite explain after.
🌿 Aroma Yoga Therapy with Sunny ( Sunny S ) — Joo Chiat
Gentle movement, grounding scent, a practice that feels like a warm exhale after a long week.
No mat skills needed. No pressure to be “good” at this. Just show up in your work clothes, kick off your shoes, and let go.
