Pre Qualifiers (First Round)

Held at Seremban (Malaysia), Team Singapore goes up against Indonesia, Malaysia and Hong Kong in a bid to achieve qualification into the next round.

The 2026 NSG C Division season has come to an end, but the record books have just received another update.

NYBB captured their 5th consecutive title (excluding the Covid-disrupted 2020-2022 period), further cementing one of the greatest dynasties in Singapore school basketball.

With this latest championship, NYGH claims 7 all-time C Division Girls titles, overtaking Jurong Secondary and climbing into sole possession of second place on the all-time leaderboard.

Yet the chase continues. Standing ahead is only one school — ballers 🏀🏀 Raffles Basketball , with 9 championships.

For NYBB , the pursuit of excellence remains relentless. The gap has narrowed to just two titles.

Meanwhile, in the C Boys' Division, SJI Basketball CCA successfully defended their crown, becoming back-to-back champions with a victory over NJC Basketball

The title is SJI's second in a row and elevates them into a tie for 4th place on the all-time NSG C Division Boys' leaderboard.

Tomorrow, two unbeaten giants collide in the 2026 National School Games C Division Boys' (League 1) Final.

SJI Basketball CCA (8-0) vs NJC Basketball (8-0).

The defending champions against the champions before them.

SJI lifted the trophy in 2025. NJC did it in 2024.

What makes this rivalry even more remarkable is the journey both teams have taken. In their respective championship years, both schools earned promotion from Pool 2 and went on incredible title runs, writing fairy-tale stories that few saw coming.

SJI Basketball CCA has remained among the elite in Pool 1 since their triumph. NJC Basketball , meanwhile, returned through Pool 2 once again in 2026 and has cut through every opponent standing in their way to reach the final.

Now, the stage is set.

Can NJC recreate the magic of 2024 and complete another fairytale run?

Or will SJI defend their crown and become back-to-back champions?

This Wednesday, 26 August 2026, NYBB (8-0) takes on Dunman high basketball 🏀 (7-1) in the 2026 National School Games C Division Girls (League 1) Final.

These two powerhouses have defined girls' basketball in recent years, and once again, they meet when it matters most.

Adding even more intrigue, this is a rematch of the 2026 B Division Girls Final, proving that the rivalry between these schools transcends age groups.

Will NYBB complete a perfect season? Or can Dunman high basketball 🏀 bounce back from their lone defeat and capture the title?
