After three years of marriage, my husband and I felt ready to start a family. We tried for quite some time, but I just couldn’t conceive. It was a really tough period for us, and we began exploring other options. That’s when we came across an advertisement for Highlander—Wendy’s—and decided to give it a try.
After speaking with Wendy, I signed up for the treatment package.

During my third session, which happened during the COVID period, I was casually chatting with my therapist and asked, “Will I get pregnant?” while she was doing the massage. She looked at me and said, “You will be pregnant soon.” I smiled, but honestly, I didn’t want to get my hopes up.

A few weeks later, I realised my period was late. I took a pregnancy test, and there it was—two lines. I was pregnant. It was one of the happiest moments of our lives, and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. It felt like the best birthday gift I could ever give my husband.

Fast forward five years, and we’re now hoping to have our second child. My husband was tasked with finding herbal therapy remedies for me, as I’m not keen on IVF or similar options. As I sat down in the shop, I suddenly realised this was the same place I had come to years ago when it was located at Bukit Merah for my treatment.
