Global Yoga Circle ⭕️ Final Day took us to India with the inspiring Prof. (Dr.) Kashinath Samagandi, Director of Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga for an enlightening session on Integrating Practical Yoga Wisdom for Daily Living. The practice emphasized bringing the timeless teachings of ayurveda yoga beyond the mat and applying awareness, balance, and mindfulness into everyday life. Beyond the physical practice, the session invited us to modify our daily lifestyle, diet, sleep and exercise for our optimal well-being. The session helped us to reflect, grow, and understand yoga as a way of living with greater harmony and purpose. Such joy to see participants joining from different countries, united by a shared intention for health, peace, and wellbeing. As we complete our journey around the world through yoga, we are reminded that true yoga lives in our daily actions, thoughts, and connections, helping us create a more peaceful world. 🙏 Thank you, India, for blessing us and sharing your wisdom and the roots of yoga with the Global Yoga Circle.

What happens inside the brain when we meditate? Science meets stillness, the Global Yoga Circle Day 7 connected with Brazil as Prof. Danilo Forghieri Santaella guided us through a fascinating session on “Neuroscience Applied to Meditation & Healthcare.”
This session explored the powerful link between ancient yogic practices and modern neuroscience, showing how meditation can influence our thoughts, emotions, health, and overall wellbeing.
Through research, reflection, and the wisdom of yoga, Prof. Danilo helped us discover how moments of mindfulness can create meaningful changes within the brain and body. The session reminded us that meditation is not only a spiritual practice, but also a science-backed tool for healing, balance, and self-awareness.
It was incredible to see our global community come together once again, exchanging knowledge and inspiration across continents. Thank you, Brazil, for bringing a unique blend of science, meditation, and wisdom to the Global Yoga Circle.

Be your own cheerleader!
Global Yoga Circle ⭕️ Day 6 arrived in Denmark with the incredible Ms. Maj Ingemann-Molden for a peaceful journey into “Turn Inward: An Introduction to Pratyahara.”
In a world that is always moving, buzzing, and demanding our attention, this session reminded us of the beauty of looking within. We explored the practice of Pratyahara, creating space from outside distractions and discovering the calm that already exists inside us.
Through moments of stillness, awareness, and reflection, Ms. Maj guided us to understand that yoga is not only about movement, but also about learning to listen, observe, and reconnect with ourselves.
It was wonderful to see participants from across the globe come together once again, sharing a space of curiosity, peace, and mindfulness. Thank you, Denmark, for bringing such meaningful wisdom and a gentle reminder to slow down on our Global Yoga Circle journey. Sometimes the greatest discoveries happen when we turn inward.

Day 5 carried us to Spain!

With Josh Pryor, we explored the power of breath through Pranayama, learning how something as simple as conscious breathing can calm the mind, steady the body, and create space within.
His session reminded us that peace is not always found by doing more, but by pausing, breathing, and returning to ourselves.

Day 3 took us to South Africa 🇿🇦✨

With Pam and Kugan Naidoo, we stepped beyond the poses and into the deeper wisdom of yoga — exploring how the Yoga Sutras can guide the way we think, live, breathe, and respond to the world around us.

Their session was a beautiful reminder that yoga is not only practiced on the mat, but in our choices, our awareness, and the peace we carry into everyday life.

Day 1: From Russia to the Global Yoga Circle
Irina Fursova reminded us that yoga begins at home — in the way we breathe, move, care for our bodies, and return to ourselves.
From calming breathwork and posture alignment to Ayurvedic self-care practices like oil massage and tongue scraping, her session offered simple tools for finding steadiness in everyday life.

From Malaysia to the Global Yoga Circle

Day 2 with Master Manisekaran reminded us that Hatha Yoga is not just about movement — it is about slowing down, breathing with awareness, and finding steadiness within.
Through gentle mat practice and discussion, we explored the foundations of Classical Hatha Yoga, harmonising body, mind, and breath through ancient yogic wisdom.
A beautiful reminder that peace begins when movement meets mindfulness.
