For the first time in Singapore Athletics History, we had not one, but 3 nominations in the 3 most prestigious categories of the night:

🎖️Coach Luis Cunha - Coach of the Year (Nominee)
🎖️Veronica Shanti Pereira - Sportswoman of the Year (Nominee)
🎖️Calvin Quek - Sportsman of the Year (Nominee)

In addition, Khalel Zaid was awarded the meritorious award (sportsboy) for his stellar achievements in 2025 🥂🏅

This is not only one for the history books for Singapore Athletics, but also for Singapore Sport, with athletics having the most nominations across 4 categories!

This is truly a testament to our growth as a sport we hope this will continue to drive us to keep pushing boundaries and inspire the current and next generation of athletes.

The quartet of Ong Ying Tat, Tate Tan, Yan Teo and Donavan Yip absolutely flew around the track at the Asian U23 Athletics Championships, clocking a phenomenal 39.57s in the Men's 4x100m! ⏱️🔥

Singapore Athletics is inviting qualified consultants and organisations to submit proposals to conduct an Environmental Landscape Study for Athletics in Singapore.

This study will help shape the future direction of athletics by providing a comprehensive assessment of the current ecosystem, identifying key opportunities and challenges, and developing recommendations to support the sustainable growth of the sport.

The study will:
🏃 Assess the current athletics landscape in Singapore
🤝 Engage stakeholders across the athletics ecosystem
📊 Benchmark Singapore against regional and international best practices
🎯 Identify gaps, opportunities and future priorities
📈 Provide strategic recommendations to support long-term development
We are seeking experienced consultants with strong capabilities in research, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning and sports ecosystem analysis.
