Day 03 – Expect the Unexpected - Conquering 45-degree gradient slope of Bukit Holbung.
Bukit Holbung is one of the most scenic viewpoints on Samosir Island, overlooking the vast waters of Lake Toba. Often referred to as the "Teletubbies Hill" due to its rolling green landscapes, it offers breathtaking panoramic views, fresh mountain air, and peaceful surroundings. A short hike up Bukit Holbung rewards visitors with stunning vistas of Lake Toba and the surrounding hills, making it a favourite destination for nature lovers, photographers, and outdoor enthusiasts.
🌄🏞️ The summit is especially beautiful during sunrise and sunset, when the changing colours of the sky create a spectacular backdrop over Lake Toba.
