Point of the day!

Great progress from the group today! After focusing on volley drills, it was fantastic to see them putting those skills into practice playing points. We still have more work to do on positioning and technique, but it’s impressive to see them already hitting such solid points. Well played!

I always like to give my students the benefit of the doubt, but after reviewing the footage, I’m pretty sure I was robbed of that point! What do you think?

It was a pleasure to get back on the court with V, a student I previously coached at the Swiss Club. Between his busy PSLE preparations, he hasn't had much time for tennis lately, and his strokes were understandably a bit "rusty."

We eased back into it with my 20-ball challenge to shake off the rust, followed by some targeted stroke improvements and consistency drills. Even after some time away, he remains one of the most consistent 12-year-olds I've worked with, and he is already transitioning well to playing with yellow balls.

These two sisters set this year's record with an incredible 62 consecutive hits! Can they beat their own best? Watch as they take on my 20-ball challenge—any guesses on how many they managed to land this time?

Our students previously held a personal best of 39 hits with the red ball. Now that they have progressed to the orange ball, they took on my 20-ball challenge for the very first time. Their reaction to hitting this milestone was pure, unadulterated joy—they were absolutely exhilarated!
