Meet: Pham Hoang Mi, Winner of Canon's Shot of the Month of May!
Hoang Mi picked up photography in February 2026, and has quickly turned that fresh passion into match-day work, shooting for a handful of local football teams since attending the WPL x Canon Experience. A student at the Singapore Institute of Technology, she is part of the SIT Aviators and Photo and Media Club (PAMC), where the lens is mostly turned towards other school sports — from archery and hockey to Taekwondo and floorball.
A committed Canon shooter, she is drawn to the brand for its fast, reliable autofocus that keeps pace with the action, standout performance for sports photography, and — simply put — a camera that looks as good as it shoots.
Off the pitch, she is a football fan through and through, cheering on the Norwegian and Vietnamese national teams.
