Special Pop-Up: Chair Yoga Basics with Gwen 🪑

Yoga doesn’t need a floor to be powerful.

Chair yoga is a sequence of gentle, supported postures designed to improve flexibility, mobility, and posture. By moving the spine, shoulders, and legs while using a chair for support and balance, you can safely build strength and relieve tension — no getting up or down from the floor required.

This makes it a wonderful entry point for anyone managing joint pain, recovering from injury, navigating pregnancy, or simply preferring a lower-impact practice. It’s also ideal if you’ve never tried yoga before and want to build confidence in a supportive, judgement-free setting.

Why practise chair yoga?

✨ Improves flexibility and range of motion
✨ Builds strength safely, without floor transitions
✨ Eases tension in the neck, shoulders, and back
✨ Supports better posture for everyday life
✨ Accessible to all bodies, all ages, all levels

Gwen will guide you through the basics — proper alignment, breath, and how to use the chair as a genuine tool for your practice, not a limitation.

New Moon Ritual with Azmi 🌙

The new moon is a beginning — the darkest point of the cycle, and the moment things start turning back toward light. It’s the traditional time for setting intentions, for releasing what’s run its course, for choosing what comes next.

Join Teacher & Sound Facilitator Azmi Samdjaga for a two-hour ritual built around exactly that.

We’ll open in meditation, move through emotional release and energy cleansing, settle into yin yoga, and close with a full sound healing immersion. There’s space held for community connection too — because intentions tend to hold better when they’re witnessed.

🌑 Opening meditation
🌒 Emotional release ritual
🌓 Energy cleansing
🌔 Yin yoga
🌕 Sound healing experience
🌖 Community connection

Bring crystals or personal items if you’d like to place them in the space — optional, but welcome.

Whether you’ve been practising this for years or you’re simply curious, come as you are. No experience needed.

Friday, 11 September 2026 @ 6.30pm (2 hours)

New Class: Gentle Flow & Sound Restoration 🎶

Some practices ask you to work. Some ask you to rest. This one holds space for both.

This 75-minute class starts with a slowed-down yoga flow guided by breath, moving at a pace that lets you actually feel each transition.

After that we soften. You’ll settle into a supported resting pose while vibrations from sound instruments like gongs, singing bowls & chimes fill the room, and your nervous system gets the reset it’s been asking for.

All levels welcome. Some yoga experience helps, but it isn’t required.

To book the first class on 9 August (National Day), check out the link in bio!
