A Yoga Teacher Training course is one of the most effective ways to deepen your personal practice. You breathe every moment of your life, but that doesn’t mean you’re breathing well.

Most of us never learn how to breathe. We simply breathe enough to get by. Long hours at a desk, stress, and hurried routines often lead to shorter, shallower breaths that become our default without us ever noticing.

Yoga has always treated the breath differently.

In yoga, pranayama is a practice in itself. Not because every breath should be bigger, but because every breath can be more intentional. When you learn to breathe with awareness, you create more space for movement, improve your ability to stay present, and support a calmer, steadier body.

The first step isn’t changing your breath.

It’s noticing it.

Tree Pose (Vrikshasana) is a classic standing yoga posture that builds balance, focus, stability, and strength. By standing on one leg while grounding through the other, this pose strengthens the ankles, calves, thighs, and core while improving posture and body awareness.

Why are yogis putting a rubber thread through the nose? 🤔

It’s called Sutra Neti—a traditional yogic cleansing practice that involves gently passing a soft rubber catheter through the nasal passage.

The practice is believed to:
✨ Help clear nasal passages
✨ Improve nasal awareness and breathing
✨ Support pranayama practices
✨ Build mental focus and resilience

That said, Sutra Neti is an advanced cleansing technique and should only be learned under the guidance of a qualified teacher. This is not something to try at home after watching a reel.
