To commemorate the day, we are sharing why Ms. Chaw Su, a former biomedical engineer, decided to pledge as a brain donor. Understanding the importance of donated human tissue in research, Ms. Chaw Su wants to contribute to research that benefits future patients. 💜🧡💙

To commemorate the day, we are sharing a son's reflection on his father, Mr. Teo Hock Chuan, and his life and legacy.

A keen marathon runner and meticulous gardener, Mr. Teo's final gift was the donation of his brain for research after his passing. In this reflection piece, his son reflects on how Mr Teo's legacy lives on through research breakthroughs his donation makes possible for generations to come. 💜🧡💙

When someone chooses to become a brain donor, their loved ones are often concerned about what the donation process will be like when the time comes. 💭📝

Every family deserves the space to grieve, which is why we strive to carry out each brain donation with compassion, respect, and as little burden as possible.

Vincent's father was a brain donor. Following his father's passing, Vincent wrote this message to share his family's experience. We are deeply grateful for his kind words and hope his reflections reassure other donor families that they will be supported with care and compassion throughout the journey.💙🧡💜

We were delighted to host Prof Ma Chao, Director of the National Human Brain Bank for Development and Function (Beijing), during his visit to Singapore for SYNAPSE2026. 🇨🇳 🇸🇬

It was a wonderful opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices in brain banking. We were particularly encouraged to discover many shared approaches in how our teams process and preserve brain tissue to support research. 🤝

Brain research is a global effort, and meaningful like these help bring us one step closer to better understanding the brain and developing new treatments for future generations.

What better way to commemorate World MS Day than by raising awareness of multiple sclerosis (MS) and the hope that research brings? 🧡

A big thank you to .sg for inviting us to be part of the event and to share how brain donation can contribute to MS research. By studying donated brain tissue, researchers can gain valuable insights that may lead to earlier diagnosis and more effective treatments in the future. 🔬🧠

We were also honoured to welcome the Guest of Honour Ms Rahayu Mahzam (Rahayu Mahzam ), Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information & Ministry of Health, to our booth. She took the time to learn more about the significance of brain donation through our interactive quiz and conversations with the team. 🤗

We hope it was an enriching and meaningful day for everyone involved!
