Coaching was never just about teaching someone how to throw a better jab.
It’s learning when to push someone harder...
and when to simply listen.
It’s understanding that not everyone walks into the gym carrying the same weight. Some are chasing a title. Some are chasing better health. Some are rebuilding their confidence after life has knocked them down.
Over time, I’ve realised that my job isn’t just to coach boxing.
It’s to make people feel seen.
To remember their names, notice when they’re quieter than usual, celebrate the smallest wins, and remind them that someone is always in their corner.
It’s to create a place where they feel they belong.
A place they look forward to after a long day.
A place where they can be themselves without feeling judged.
It’s to help them feel alive again.
To discover that they’re capable of more than they ever believed.
To leave every session a little stronger—not just physically, but mentally too.
And perhaps the greatest reward is seeing someone walk out of the gym carrying something they didn’t have when they walked in.
Because coaching isn’t measured by how many champions you produce.
It’s measured by how many lives leave believing they’re stronger than they were yesterday.
That’s the kind of coach I hope I’ll always be

The check hook is best used to escape pressure when you have your back against the ropes and this is how you can execute it 💪🏻🥊
The hustle can wait. Your health, your family, and your peace of mind can’t. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is take a break. ✈️🌿

A huge congratulations to ayeshalaughsalot on winning her bout today at the Legacy Women’s Boxing Championship.
The result is only part of the story. What makes us proud is the discipline she showed throughout training, the composure she displayed under pressure, and the respect she carried before, during, and after the fight.
Every round reflected the countless hours of work that no one sees- the tough sessions, and the commitment to getting a little better every day.
Thank you to Legacy Women's Boxing Championship , officials, and Ayesha’s opponent for a competitive and respectful contest.
This is another step in the journey, and we’re excited to see what comes next 🥊🫡
Growth isn’t loud. Most days it’s just showing up! ✨🥊
