The National Body for the Sport of Golf in Singapore

The Singapore Golf Association was registered on 5 October 1961 with the objective of encouraging and promoting the game of golf in Singapore. From a small association of golf clubs, SGA has grown to its present size comprising 11 Full Members, 7 Associate Members and 5 Affiliate Members. Its constitution was amended in 2001 to enable golf clubs without real estate to join SGA as Associate Members

A A proud evening for Singapore golf at the Singapore Sports Awards 2026, organised by SNOC and Sport Singapore ✨

Congratulations to our SGA professionals, Shannon Tan and James Leow, as well as national squad member Chen Xingtong, on their well-deserved recognition.

Tan was nominated for Sportswoman of the Year, while Leow and Chen received Meritorious Award, reflecting their outstanding achievements and contributions in the sport.

As Chen was unable to attend the event, our Assistant National Coach, Joshua Shou, proudly accepted the award on her behalf.

Congratulations once again to the trio. Your dedication and achievements will continue to raise the profile and development of golf in Singapore👏🏼
