Ken Teh spotted a Giant Snakehead rise out wide and first sent a topwater lure straight to the spot — but the fish just wouldn’t commit.

He then switched over to the TOUGHFIA BARRA JERK 90 MD, cast it past the same rise, and retrieved it back to get the lure down to the depth he wanted. A few hard twitches kept it suspending right in the strike zone — and that was all it took.

The Giant Snakehead committed hard, and the fish was on.

Snakehead often rise well beyond the usual casting point, and the TOUGHFIA Snakehead Pencil 135F is built to reach them. Weighing 29g with a rear-weighted design, it delivers the casting distance needed to cover far-off rises with confidence.

A powerful strike straight from the rapids! Feng Yong Ye sent the TOUGHFIA BARRA JERK 90SP MD into the fast-flowing current and worked it through the turbulent water, where this good-sized Sebarau (Hampala Barb) came in hard and fully committed to the bite.

Even in the rapid current, the lure maintained its tight wobbling action and continued to swim steadily through the strike zone. Its stable tracking and controlled movement made it impossible for the fish to ignore.
