SSTARfitness Group Training Program for Week 3.
Tues - Pyramid intervals teach you how to maintain leg speed when tired. Each lap should be at the same or faster.
Thurs - Go at a faster Short tempo pace than Week-1.
Sat - Progressively add kms to your long runs to build aerobic capacity.

Tues - Run all 800m intervals at the same speed to build your inner GPS. Thurs - Run Medium Tempos faster than Lactate Threshold pace to improve your lactate threshold.
Sat - Run long runs with a Fast Finish to build mental toughness.

Tues - Short intervals improves your cadence
Thurs - Go 1 to 2 seconds faster per km for your Tempo and Long runs. Shorter and faster tempos improves your Lactate tolerance.
Sat - Build leg strength with hills on the Saturday long run.

Tues - Practice your pacing on Tues intervals
Thurs - Prepare well for your Thursday Time trial. When done correctly, it is a very accurate way to predict your race timings. Use it to compare your progress from the previous TT, six weeks ago. How is your ranking within the Club? Is your time getting faster?
Sat - Sprinkle some hills on your Saturday LR menu.
