Every squat, lunge, push, pull, run and carry we do is ultimately preparing us for life.
Because being fit isnโt just about performance.
Itโs about being able to get up and down the stairs with confidence.
Carry your groceries home.
Play with your kids/pets.
Stay independent as you age.
And have enough physical and mental capacity left to lend a hand to someone else.
So last weekend, we took our training mindset outside the gym.
Together with some of our members, our BFTHV community spent time volunteering with the residents of Ren Ci Hospital, sharing a meal and accompanying them on a grocery shopping trip.
We came away realising that the smallest things can sometimes mean the most.
For some of the residents, simply getting out, choosing their groceries and enjoying a meal together was something they donโt experience regular enough.
Thatโs the kind of fitness we want to build at BFT HV; inclusive, supportive, and holistic.
Fitness that gives you the capacity to live, contribute, and care. Because being stronger isnโt the end goal.
