🇸🇬 A Truly Special National Day at Changi Golf Club 🇸🇬

There was something especially heartwarming about seeing Changi Golf Club come alive in red and white as our members and friends gathered to celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday together.

We were honoured to welcome Ms Valerie Lee 李乃怡, Member of Parliament for Pasir Ris–Changi GRC and representative for the Changi division, to open our celebration. Ms Lee spent time meeting and taking photographs with our participants and was also given a tour of our clubhouse and golf course.

Our fully subscribed game began on a sweet note, with ice cream treats before tee-off and wonderful goodie bags and swags from Standard Chartered Bank. Blessed with beautiful weather, everyone enjoyed a great day of golf amid plenty of laughter, camaraderie and National Day spirit.

As evening fell, the celebrations continued over a sumptuous dinner. One of the most meaningful moments of the night was when everyone stood together to sing the National Anthem with gusto and recite the National Pledge, a simple but powerful reminder of the home we share and how far Singapore has come.

The rest of the evening was filled with games, lucky draws, tournament prizes and, most importantly, the warmth and friendship that make CGC feel like home.

Changi Golf Club was proud to be represented at the Singapore Golf Association Stakeholders Appreciation Dinner held yesterday at 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐡 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛, where the contributions of individuals and member clubs to the growth of golf in Singapore were recognised. The awards were presented by Guest of Honour, Senior Minister of State Mr Desmond Tan, Patron of the Singapore Golf Association.

We are delighted to congratulate several members of the Changi Golf Club family on receiving well-deserved recognition:

Captain Chan Hee Mun was honoured for his contributions to the SGA, where he serves as an Observer on the Executive Board, a member of the Tournament Committee, and Chairman of the Engagement Committee .

Vice Captain Adrian Lim received an award in recognition of CGC and his contributions to junior golf development.

Head of Golf Mac Nathan was recognised for his service as a member of the SGA Agronomy & Sustainability Committee.

Acting Club Manager Teeny Toh accepted an appreciation award on behalf of Changi Golf Club as one of SGA’s valued member clubs.

We are also proud to congratulate our member, Ong Kian Hui, who serves as the Singapore Golf Association’s Golf Development Officer, on receiving his 18 Years Long Service Award. His unwavering dedication over the past 18 years has played a significant role in the development of golf in Singapore.

Congratulations to all our award recipients on this well-deserved recognition. Your dedication and commitment continue to make a meaningful contribution to both Changi Golf Club and the wider golfing community in Singapore.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Singapore Golf Association for recognising the invaluable contributions of its member clubs, volunteers, officials and stakeholders. It is through the collective efforts of everyone in the golfing fraternity that the game continues to grow and thrive in Singapore. We are honoured to be part of this shared journey and look forward to continuing to support the development of golf together. ⛳

🏌️‍♂️ Changi Golf Club Junior Medal : 6-Hole Challenge 2026 🏆

It was wonderful to see so many young golfers take to the course for the Changi Golf Club Junior Medal 6-Hole Challenge on 2 August 2026. More than just a competition, the event gave our juniors the opportunity to gain tournament experience, build confidence and, most importantly, enjoy the game alongside fellow young golfers.

We were also delighted to welcome juniors from Keppel Club and Orchid Country Club, 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐡 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 and Sembawang Country Club, whose participation made the afternoon and evening even more enjoyable and fostered new friendships through golf.

What better way to wrap up CGC’s season at the Singapore Golf Association Inter-Club 2026 League than with a groovy evening of friendship, laughter and celebration!

Our CGC ICL Party wasn’t just about dressing up as happy hippies (though everyone certainly looked the part! 😄). It was about celebrating what makes the Inter-Club League so special, the camaraderie that extends far beyond 18 holes.

To all our Changi Golf Club league players, thank you for wearing the CGC colours with pride throughout the season. Your commitment, sportsmanship and team spirit made us proud, regardless of the results on the leaderboard.

It was also wonderful to catch up with friends from fellow clubs. While we compete fiercely on the course, it is evenings like these that remind us that golf is ultimately about friendships built through the game. Thank you to our friends from Keppel Club, Orchid Country Club, Sembawang Country Club, National Service Resort & Country Club and Warren Golf & Country Club for being part of this wonderful celebration.
