Hi guys, it must be getting close to good weather, cause this page has been gathering 'likes' despite little online activity.
The PWL has no immediate plans for the 2015 season. I'll keep this page active for the future and welcome any who want to post material related to our favorite outdoor game.
Have a great season!

Fantastic, great to see this sort of coverage!
Time for some great news. :)
The 2013 season is now open with the addition of an online Scoring Database to register your team, your players and to keep track of your game scores.
Team names need to be entered by Admin, so hit me here or email [email protected] to ask for entry. After that you can head to our website to register yourself by clicking the 'Scoring Database' button.

There is currently no tutorial, but if you click around you'll find it pretty easy to use. Please don't enter game info unless a game has actually been played.
Important things to note for 2013:
There is no charge to enter the Pointman League and no charge to use the Scoring Database.
Teams must plan their own game days, book fields, show up, play and score the games on their own.
Teams now need only a minimum of 6 games to have their score counted towards the Season Score and only 12 games in order to qualify for the one-time bonus to their Season Score.
All other rules remain unchanged.
So, shout if you want your team name added to Pointman's Scoring Database and go play some paintball!

The 2012 Pointman Woodsball season is over and scores have been checked. Nobody made the minimum requirement of 18 games, but I'm handing out a prize regardless.
Here are the three top-scoring teams having at least 10 games.
Kill at Will Average Points Per Game 58.5
PUMP Average Points Per Game 56.9
Spectre Average Points Per Game 54.6
Congrats to defending champs Kill at Will for winning the 2012 season, and to all players making this a fun year of paintball!

Here's another way of looking at this years player stats...sorted by kills. Nothing fancy about this stat, just how many opponents you took out.

Something new from DYE; is it something you would use?

DYE DAM The Dye Assault Matrix was built from the ground up to be the ultimate product for tactical players. We wanted to provide the industry with a stunning tactic...

Final scoring for 2012 is in and player scores are up! Here is Kill/Death Ratio; it is calculated simply. Your kills are divided by your deaths...the result shows the number of players you kill for every 1 time your die.
Time for some scores and a game report from last month's games!
The BC games saw a Drifters team (welcome back guys) join Bannock Beatdown and Kill at Will at Maple Ridge Paintball. I've not heard any blow-by-blow accounts but score sheets showed pretty close matches with each team getting in 4 games.
Bannock Beatdown is continually improving (huge positive jump in their points-per-game score) but Kill at Will still walked away with the most points.
Interestingly, KaW has some pumps on their team...probably Jason B trying to tone down his personal kill-fest to get his handicap in line. He was at a minus 5 for these games, but in September will be at no handicap (he's still got 14 kills to 3 deaths this season...silly).
The Drifters (a walk-on team) knocked a few heads, if they played regularly with this game-day's group they'd be pretty dangerous (Hunter already at 5 kills to 1 death and facing a minus 5 handicap in Sept. Badass).
In Sweden things were simpler; as reported earlier P.U.M.P. and Spectre fought 4 games in the rain at AC Paintball Uppsala. P.U.M.P. came out on top...they crippled Spectre with a clean sweep one game and though hard playing started to even things out the damage was done for Spectre.
On to scores!
Kill at Will Total Points 936
PUMP Total Points 910
Spectre Total Points 765
Wolverines Total Points 450
Bannock Beatdown Total Points 375
Stockholm Ignition Total Points 330
Drifter Total Points 175
And the Season Score statistics that matters most:
Stockholm Ignition Points Per Game 82.0 (4 games)
Kill at Will Average Points Per Game 58.5 (16 games)
PUMP Average Points Per Game 56.9 (16 games)
Spectre Average Points Per Game 54.6 (14 games)
Wolverines Average Points Per Game 56.3 (8 games)
Drifters Average Points Per Game 43.8 (4 games)
Bannock Beatdown Average Points Per Game 26.8 (14 games)
To qualify your team's Season Score you need to have 18 games. KaW and P.U.M.P have 16 games each, while Spectre and Bannock Beatdown have 14 and Wolverines still only 8.
We wrap the season in Sept, so happy hunting as all teams fight their final 2012 battles!
Last 2012 game day for BC is coming up! We'll be at Tsawwassen Paintball Sept 30. $10 field fee and paint at $65 a case to start.
Note that this is NOT the Tac Field, but will take place at the big field (which we'll only need a comparatively tiny bit of).

Who is in?
BCPAINTBALL.COM :: Tsawwassen Paintball Games To get to Tsawwassen Paintball, follow Highway 17 towards the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal. Pass by the waterslide park on your right, and then turn left at Tsawwassen Drive. The parking lot is on the right and the field is immediately on the left. See you there!
