💛 Join us at Kulturfestivalen 2026!

The biggest international celebration of Catalan culture is coming to Stockholm's Kulturfestivalen, and Castellers d'Estocolm is proud to be part of it once again!

This year, Catalonia is the featured guest at Kulturfestivalen, as Stockholm hosts Aplec Internacional, ADIFOLK's international showcase of Catalan popular culture. For four days, more than 1,200 performers from 42 groups will fill the city with music, dance, traditions... and, of course, human towers!

We'll be performing alongside our colles padrines, Bordegassos de Vilanova and Castellers de Sabadell (Saballuts), in several performances throughout the festival.

💛 The highlight of the weekend will be on Sunday, 16 August at 15:00, when we celebrate our baptism performance, a very special milestone in the casteller tradition that officially recognizes us as a fully fledged colla castellera. We'd love to have you there to share this unforgettable moment with us!

🎉What a day for Castellers d’Estocolm!

Our Second Anniversary Diada was a special moment to celebrate how far we have come together over the past year.

We have returned to focusing on the pillar aixecat per sota, and we have once again successfully built the 2d5 and the 3d5, along with different pillars of 3 and 4, with many new members joining the colla.

It was a performance marked by progress, learning, and especially by the energy of so many new people taking part in the project and making it grow stronger.

We are incredibly proud to see our team continue to grow, both in numbers and in ambition. Every rehearsal, every performance, and every new casteller who joins us helps make this project stronger. And that includes our amazing musicians!

Now our sights are set on the next challenge: bringing a 3d6 to Kulturfestivalen. We have an exciting summer of rehearsals ahead, and we are ready to give everything to reach this goal.

We cannot wait to share this experience with castellers, friends, and audiences from across the region.

On May 3rd and 4th, we joined forces for a shared rehearsal weekend in Copenhagen together with the ! 💛💙

It was an incredibly enriching weekend where we kept learning and growing together. For the first time, we practiced and built pinyes for the 5d5 structure, successfully completed a full 3d5 clean for the first time, and completed several 3d6 attempts up to aixecador. We also practiced new pd4s and, as always, learned a huge amount of technical knowledge, from the pinyes and trunks to the kids teams.

We even had the chance to use their rehearsal safety net to practice falls in a controlled environment, something very valuable for improving both confidence and technique.

Beyond the castles themselves, this weekend reminded us how special it is to build together across borders. Creating this Nordic connection makes us feel at home, wherever we are. Gràcies Copenhagen! 💛💙

New board, same spirit 💛

On February 1st, 2026, Castellers d’Estocolm elected a new board, a team ready to keep building, growing, and reaching new heights.

Since day one, they’ve been putting in the work behind the scenes to make every rehearsal, performance, and moment together possible.

But remember: a colla is much more than its board. There are many hands and hearts making this happen, and we’ll be introducing more of them very soon.

🥚 Our Easter perfomance was a huge success!

We built several structures, continuing to strengthen our pinya, improving stability, and refining every detail of our castells.

A big thank you to the amazing audience! Around 40 people joined us and even lent a hand, making the experience even more special.

We’re proud of the progress and energy of the group, and already looking ahead with excitement to performing at this year’s Stockholm Kulturfestivalen!

Yesterday we held a workshop in collaboration with THS Sports at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Students got the chance to learn about the basics of building castells, how to climb and be part of a structure. Hope we see you soon again!

Here is the schedule 📆 for March 2026!

This month we continue rehearsing 💪 on Sundays between 14:45 and 17:00 and some Thursdays from 18:00 to 19:30. We will also be wrapping up March with our Easter performance 🐰 in Skytteholmsskolan during our regular rehearsal time. More information coming soon!

Furthermore, on Friday 20th at 19:00 we will be holding a collaboration event together with THS Sports ⚽ in KTH-Hallen.
