IOC DECISION ON RUSSIAN ATHLETES AND TEAMS!
The Federation of International Bandy (FIB) acknowledges the decision of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board on 7 July 2026 to provisionally lift the suspension of the Russian Olympic Committee and to confirm that its recommendations issued to International Federations (IFs) regarding the participation of Russian athletes and teams are no longer applicable.

FIB HALL OF FAME - LEGENDS OF BANDY - STAFFAN SÖDERLUND, SWEDEN
One of the prominent leaders of bandy. Awarded in 2025.
Staffan was Chair of the Swedish Bandy 1988-1997. He won the Swedish championship title as Chairman of Brobergs IF 1976 and 1977.

Staffan Söderlund was a great man, warm, humble, diplomatic, and eloquent.

His FIB merits:
👉🏽 General Secretary 1981-1989.
👉🏽 President 1993-1997.
