Not just for the office.
Originally made for desk workers.
But Midsummer is work too. 🌼 (it’s like summer xmas for Swedes)
Lots of sitting.
Lots of fun.
If your lower back starts complaining, try this.
Hej hopp. P**f. Gone.

My mission:
"Empowering you to embrace gentle, intentional living through rituals and self-care practices."
Our tragedy can become our teacher.
I was rereading The Way to Freedom by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and came across a passage on conceit.
The teaching was simple: if our study and practice don’t make us more humble, then what is the point?
When we’re healthy, we often speak about illness, death, and suffering as if they happen somewhere else. To someone else.
Then life hands us a different curriculum.
Cancer has been one of mine.
Not because it made me wiser.
Not because it made me stronger.
But because it continues to teach me humility.
These days, I find myself deeply respecting people who move through life with grace, kindness, and quiet humility.
Sometimes the lesson isn’t found in the book.
Sometimes we become the lesson.

Anti-aging is for beginners.
Aging is a full-time job.
Lately, I’ve gone back to basics.
A few Sun Salutations.
A little less ego.
A little more listening.
The funny thing?
The older I get, the more interested I become in ancient remedies.
More on that soon.
No need for caption lah
Day One or One Day?
I used to chase the extraordinary stuff.
The big breakthroughs.
The shiny wellness trends.
The next thing that promised to change my life.
But I did a few good things too.
I stopped smoking 20 years ago.
I stopped drinking in 2018, and waking up sober never gets old. Having a completely sober conversation at a dinner party is its own kind of spiritual awakening.
These days, I’m more interested in the small, unglamorous things.
Drinking water.
Getting enough sleep.
Taking a walk.
A conscious pause before reacting.
The stuff nobody posts about because it’s not sexy.
Turns out, those little things are doing most of the heavy lifting.
And maybe that’s the secret.
The basic stuff is the magic stuff.
Because a basic bitch who drinks water, sleeps well, and regulates her nervous system is basically a queen. 👑
Name one thing below that’s simple but changes everything
Why should you stay in bed a little longer?
Story time.
For years, one of the first things I did every morning was check my bank account.
Not because my business wasn’t doing well.
It was.
Overheads were high.
Balancing an elephant on thin wire.
Most of the time it worked itself out.
The money came in.
The bills got paid.
But I was still afraid to look.
Afraid there wouldn’t be enough.
Afraid something had gone wrong.
Afraid the numbers would confirm my worst fears.
Most mornings I felt behind before I even got out of bed.
My nervous system was already on high alert.
Don’t believe the hype.
This is NOT the time to start yoga or meditation.
Ironically I was a yoga studio owner.
Not yet. If your nervous system is overwhelmed, meditation can become just another thing you’re using to fix yourself.
Do this instead.
Give your nervous system a daily tune-up.
Stay in bed for five minutes.
Dream about your next perfect hour.
Your next perfect day.
Your next perfect week.
Then gently remind yourself:
“I have enough to support the life I live and the life I desire.”
Some mornings you’ll believe it.
Some mornings you won’t.
Keep doing it anyway.
Your nervous system doesn’t need perfection.
It needs proof that you’re safe.
Five minutes.
That’s where I’d start.

SWIPE LEFT SHALL WE?
Being away for 30 days dissolved a few layers in me.
Quietly.
Slowly.
Enough to notice what I no longer want to carry.
There are so many layers to being human.
The private ones.
The collective ones.
The ones the body remembers even when the mind forgets.
My way through them is REST.
Yoga Nidra moves through the layers of the self
body
breath
emotion
memory
energy
space
Until something underneath begins to breathe again.
I want us to feel in bloom after REST.
Softer. Clearer. More alive inside our own lives.
