Ok so you muskyanglers out there who see this, do you think these will dance?
Several luremodels of mine with the 'backlip-solution' have caught plenty of muskies through the years with a couple of 50"+ on top. But still my market 'over there' is pretty lame.
Now some buddys are going for muskyhinting with Darcy at Darcy Cox (who are one of those who have actually put some Backlips to the test before with good results) so I made them these new phat and chunky version of my 'Shadlip'.
Its a floating version wit two different options to fish it. Attache the line to the front eyelit and you get a surfacebreaking 'walking' lure who pushes tons of water and create heavy swirls with the lip in the back and it makes som nice 'plopping' sound too(besides the loud and heavy rattlechambers). ..and in the upper eyelit you get a super agressive hard hitting wibelure(crankbait) who submerge with a feet or two. Both options can take speed and are steady in the '8', (look how the wibe-version shows its sides in the outer turns on the video).
So Ill call it the 'JW's Wake or Shake'
Perhaps yo think they look promising and if it turns out well I might have some to offer in the near future

..finally back in the workshop again, doing what I love the most. Words like 'addiction' or 'passion' are no exaggeration! Making handmade wooden lures.

I love all the steps from idea to making to catching fish. I think the big key for me to keepeing on doing this for over 16years as a pro(humble brag) now is both the fact that I started low with more entusiasm than skills and slow and steady increased my skills with every new batch I make(still struggle and far from all good) and the fact that I allways mix doing my old classic big fish-proven luremodel with making new ones. Allways looking to make lures filling a hole or breaking new grund.
