The course had to be designed to allow for nine of the holes to be accommodated within the bounds of the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Race Track. The upside of this is that thirteen of the eighteen holes are viewable from the race track camera towers should there be a need to record or televise a golf event. A unique feature of golf at Nofa is the small Safari Park situated between Holes 8 and 9. This park contains ostrich, arabian oryx, different species of small antelope and a pair of Pygmy Hippopotami. Future plans include a nine hole academy course.
