This season didn’t start the way we planned. Boat issues, tough results, a standings position that doesn’t reflect the work we’ve put in. It would be easy to let that shake us.

We won’t. Discomfort is part of this sport, it shows up in every setback, every long night, every result that doesn’t go our way. Suffering, on the other hand, is a choice, and it’s one we’re not making.

We’re choosing to give everything we have instead.

Because our attitude is what determines our altitude in the standings, and we’re not settling for where we started.
