Wooden hangboard/fingerboard to train your finger strength for climbing. Made in Rwanda together with a Kigali based carpenter cooperative and FabLab Kigali. 1.

How it is made

The timber is selected and bought by the carpenters cooperative COMEJOGA (Coöperative des Menusiers Joyeux de Gakinjiro). After the wood is cut and smoothed at the right dimensions, the piece goes to FabLab Kigali. The pockets are precisely cut out by the ShopBot machine at FabLab Kigali and the PROTOKOL logo is laserprinted on the front. Afterwards, the piece goes back to COMEJOGA  ...
