Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Olivier Nduhungirehe is meeting with a delegation of U.S. Congressional staffers on a working visit to Rwanda, as they discuss the longstanding partnership between Rwanda and the United States and opportunities to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.

Following the closure of several manufacturers producing substandard alcoholic beverages, RIB in partnership with the Rwanda National Police has paraded 16 suspects allegedly involved in the production and distribution of the illicit drinks.
The suspects include six factory owners and 10 employees from the closed facilities.

President Paul Kagame has paid tribute to the late Senator Donatille Mukabalisa, highlighting her integrity, humility, resilience, and unwavering dedication to public service. He said her commitment to serving the nation earned her respect, trust, and recognition from those she worked with and the country at large.

Indian woman Renu Dhariyal has been recognized as the living woman with the longest hair in the world.

She has been officially entered into the Guinness World Records, with her hair measuring an impressive 271.5 centimetres (2.715 metres) in length.

Ugandan music star Sheebah Karungi has been recognized by Uganda’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs for her outstanding contribution to promoting the country’s culture through music and entertainment.

The recognition honours her role in showcasing Uganda on the global stage through her performances and international presence.
