Following the closure of several manufacturers producing substandard alcoholic beverages, RIB in partnership with the Rwanda National Police has paraded 16 suspects allegedly involved in the production and distribution of the illicit drinks.
The suspects include six factory owners and 10 employees from the closed facilities.

He highlighted the Rwandan values embodied by Umuganura including patriotism, unity, hard work, cooperation, sharing, mutual respect, resilience and self-reliance while encouraging responsible alcohol consumption and greater commitment to protecting lives and building a better future.
