A woman’s skirt length should never determine her worth, her character, or her right to exist freely.
Culture matters. Community matters. Respect matters.
But so does choice.
A woman can honour her culture, express her femininity, show her skin, cover her skin, wear a short skirt, wear trousers — and still deserve the same dignity and respect.
Maybe the real measure of a society isn’t how much skin women are allowed to show, but how much freedom they are allowed to have. 🤍

Slow down. Soften. Let go.
Join Cynthia every Monday evening for a deeply nourishing Yin Yoga practice designed to help you shift out of the pace of the week and into a quieter, more receptive state.
Unlike more dynamic styles of yoga, Yin works with stillness, time and surrender. Poses are generally held for several minutes, allowing the body to gradually soften and encouraging a different kind of relationship with sensation. From a physiological perspective, longer-held, passive postures place gentle stress on connective tissues such as fascia, tendons and ligaments, while the slower pace and mindful breathing can support the nervous system in moving towards a more restful, parasympathetic state.
But Yin is about more than the physical body.
Every week, Cynthia explores a different theme, weaving together yogic philosophy, mindfulness, seasonal energy, the subtle body and the realities of everyday life. One week might invite you to explore letting go; another might centre around compassion, boundaries, patience, change, gratitude or finding stillness amongst uncertainty.
The physical practice becomes a doorway into something deeper, an opportunity to pause, listen inwardly and notice what you might be carrying, holding onto or ready to release.
Expect long, supported holds, thoughtful sequencing, breathwork, moments of stillness and a little space for reflection.
Come as you are. Leave a little softer.
Every Monday evening with Cynthia.

It is with a very full heart (and perhaps a few tears) that I write this…
This Sunday evening will be my last Sound Bath at KWH before I leave Rwanda with my family for our next chapter in Madagascar.
After four beautiful years here, I couldn’t think of a more meaningful way to close this chapter than by joining forces with my partner in crime (or rather, in health!) Cynthia, who has been such a beautiful part of this journey.
Together, we’ll share an evening of Yin Yoga & Sound Bath Meditation — a chance to slow down, soften, breathe and receive. To honour what has been, make space for what’s coming, and celebrate the people and practices that have made Rwanda feel so much like home.
KWH has been far more than a studio to me. It has been a community, a creative home, a place of connection, healing, friendship and so many memories that I will carry with me.
So, if you’ve shared a mat with me, listened to a gong, laughed, cried, danced, or simply been part of this community along the way — I would love to share this final evening with you. 🤍
Come soften with us, celebrate with us, and perhaps shed a tear or two along the way.
