“I know Mikhail is set to fight an opponent from Uganda. His opponent has spent his recent fights facing ‘boxers’ with more losses than wins.

I’d beat both of them in one night. Grigoryan has never been put under any real pressure. And finally, I’ll say just one thing: defend the title or vacate it.”

Grigoryan faces Uganda’s Henry Oteba for the IBF Youth Lightweight title on August 14 in Naberezhnye Chelny.

Grigoryan expects a determined opponent — but says he’s prepared for whatever comes his way.

“My opponent is a good fighter and he’ll bring his own challenges. He’s coming here to win, not just to show up. But whatever he brings, I’ll be ready.”

“I rewatched Tyson Fury’s and Anthony Joshua’s latest fights, and I can say only one thing: I’d have no problem taking both of those bums out in one night. One of them does nothing but run, while the other goes down from the slightest gust of wind.

I’d need two rounds for Joshua and around eight for Fury. Then people would finally stop talking about my fight with Joe Joyce. Joe Joyce would walk straight through both of them.”

Suslenkov also named Filip Hrgović, Joseph Parker and Moses Itauma among the opponents he’d like to face before challenging for a full world heavyweight title.
