Radu Prie is back this year with a story about Wild Anatolia - To Ararat and beyond

Four friends embark on a motorcycle expedition to the easternmost edge of Turkey, navigating through the raw landscapes and profound history of Wild Anatolia. The journey connects 12,000-year-old archaeological ruins with the legendary slopes of Mount Ararat in a deep exploration of ancient geography.

The adventure features a contrast between breathtaking scenery and treacherous, high-consequence routes, including the notorious D915 highway and the steep, carved walls of the Dark Canyon. This expedition maps out both wonderful roads and intense technical challenges, highlighting the grit required to navigate Turkey's rugged and historic interior.

Some of you may remember Dominik from previous Horizons Unlimited Romania gatherings. To us, he's not just a returning storyteller; he's a friend who's been part of the Horizons Unlimited Romania family for years, and we're always happy to welcome him back. Every visit brings new adventures, great conversations, and stories worth sharing.
This year, Dominik is back with a different approach.

Marius Achim is one of our presenters who will also hold workshops at Horizons Unlimited Romania 2026. Over the years, he has traveled extensively both at home and abroad, often finding himself in remote places where, if something went wrong, he had to fend for himself. Out of pure necessity, he learned to fix mechanical issues using only what he had at hand. It's that classic, resourceful, typical Balkan skill where giving up is never an option and improvisation is key. Marius is bringing this exact real-world experience to the event with his short, hands-on course: Bushcraft Mechanics.
