🥾 Hiking Weekend in the Parâng Mountains
Join us for an adventurous weekend in the Parâng Mountains! ⛰️ Two days of hiking, alpine landscapes, glacial lakes, camping and good vibes.

Everyone is welcome – families, young people and all age groups. You just need to be comfortable sleeping in a tent. 🏕️

🗒️ PROGRAMME
Saturday: Meet at Groapa Seacă cabin by 12:00. After a short briefing, we’ll hike to our campsite at Lake Zănoaga Stânei.
Sunday: Hike along the main ridge towards Parângul Mare (2,519 m) and Geamănarea Peak (2,437 m), then return to camp, pack up and head back to the cars.

🚗 TRAVEL
Transport is individual. We recommend carpooling as roadside parking is limited. Please arrive on time.

🏕️ ACCOMMODATION
Camping in tents at Lake Zănoaga Stânei. We recommend sharing tents where possible.

🍔 FOOD & DRINKS
Bring your own food and drinks – there are no shops in the mountains. Drinking water is available near the campsite. Bring a camping gas stove if you want hot food or coffee. Campfires are not allowed.

🎒 ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT
• 45–70 L backpack + 15–20 L daypack
• Tent, sleeping bag (0–5°C) & sleeping mat
• 2 L water bottle/hydration system
• Headlamp
• Hiking boots/shoes – no sneakers
• Warm layers & rain jacket
• Trash bag

We’re back with another special story about courage, new beginnings and finding your place on the other side of the world. 🌏✈️
This time, Szőke Nóra will take us to New Zealand – a country that started as a one-year adventure, but eventually became something much more.

Nóra will share her personal journey of leaving everything familiar behind and starting a completely new chapter at the other end of the world. 🧭

During the evening, she will talk about:
✅how she ended up in New Zealand – where the idea came from, how she made it happen, and what she left behind,
✅the reality of the Working Holiday experience – finding work, starting a new life and adapting to a completely different environment,
✅adventures across New Zealand – sports, hiking, camping and travelling through one of the most beautiful countries in the world,
✅personal growth – what the experience has taught her and how she has changed along the way,
✅and finally, why she decided to stay – and why her original plan of spending just one year in New Zealand eventually changed.
What starts as a one-year adventure can sometimes become something much bigger.

Come and listen to Nóra’s story, get a glimpse into life in New Zealand, and maybe leave with a little more courage to start your own adventure.
