The WFDF 2026 World Team Disc Golf Championships is bringing the world of Disc Golf to Vilnius, Lithuania, from 8–12 September.

With 47 teams representing 29 countries across the Open and, for the first time, Masters divisions, WTDGC 2026 will be the largest and most internationally diverse edition of the championship to date.

For five days, Vilnius becomes the world capital of team Disc Golf. 🌍🏆

Call for Volunteers

Want to be part of Bucharest Open 2026?

Running a three-day international tournament across two courses takes more hands than we have. If you want to be on the inside of the biggest disc golf event Romania has hosted, this is how.

We’re looking for:
· Spotters to track where discs land
· Crowd control to keep spectators safe and in the right places
· General helpers for everything else that comes up

You don’t need to know anything about disc golf. We’ll brief you before you start, and there’s always someone nearby to ask.

Volunteers get a pack with a tournament disc and other goodies, and a front-row view of players from ten countries. Most of our volunteers end up playing the sport themselves.

September 18-20, at Verdi Park and Clubul Diplomatilor in Herăstrău. You can sign up for one day or all three.

Transylvania Open 2026 is in the books.

More than 30 players and 20 volunteers, two hard rounds, and a course that gave nobody an easy hole. Romania’s first PDGA-sanctioned tournament is done, and it delivered.
