The inaugural Tassili N’Ajjer Marathon takes runners deep into one of Algeria’s most extraordinary landscapes. Set amid the spectacular rock formations, vast desert scenery and ancient heritage of Tassili N’Ajjer National Park, this unique event combines running, adventure, history and exploration. Participants will experience a remote and breathtaking corner of the Sahara, surrounded by towering sandstone formations and landscapes shaped over millions of years. Tassili N’Ajjer is also renowned for its remarkable prehistoric rock art, offering a fascinating glimpse into the civilizations that once inhabited this region. More than just a marathon, the Algeria Challenge will be an unforgettable journey through one of the world’s great natural and cultural treasures.
