We are OFWs in Qatar who formed the team on November 2014. We want to live a happy and healthy life.
The organization has been running for a year and a half now and has over 50 members – newbies and professionals - join and come along our 2-4 days/week training at the Katara Beach, some for fun and leisure, but most come with commitment to train hard in preparation for international competitions lined up this year. Team members are encouraged to train hard, compete to his / her best ability, respect competitors and simply have fun and be fit and healthy.

From August 21–23, Gaod proudly took part in the 14th Open Busan International Dragon Boat Festival! 🐉🚣♀️
What an incredible experience! We gained not only valuable experience and knowledge, but also strengthened our camaraderie and created unforgettable memories. A huge thank you to the organizers for putting together such an amazing event and for giving us the opportunity to meet and compete alongside 17 teams from different parts of the world. Congratulations to all the winners!🌏❤️
To our Busan crew, we are incredibly proud of your dedication, commitment, and passion for the sport. Keep showing up, stay focused, and remain consistent in your training. Most importantly, let’s continue to have fun, support one another, and keep that fire burning! 🔥

Representing Qatar and the Philippines means carrying two homes with us. We are proud Filipinos, but Qatar is also the country where we train, grow, and build our lives as athletes. More than winning, we want to show the strength, unity, and determination of Filipino athletes living in Qatar. For us, every paddle is a symbol of unity, perseverance, and pride Filipino at heart, Qatar-based, and proud to compete internationally.
