اجتمع سعادة الشيخ جوعان بن حمد آل ثاني، رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية القطرية، اليوم، مع سعادة السيد سعيد عبدالله القمزي، سفير دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة الشقيقة لدى الدولة.

وجرى خلال الاجتماع استعراض علاقات التعاون بين دولة قطر ودولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة في المجال الرياضي، وبحث سبل دعمها وتعزيزها خلال المرحلة المقبلة.

كما تناول اللقاء عدد من الموضوعات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.

‏H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, met today with H.E. Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the State of Qatar.

‏During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the cooperation between the State of Qatar and the United Arab Emirates in the field of sport and discussed ways to further support and strengthen it in the coming period.

‏The meeting also covered a number of topics of mutual interest.

التقى سعادة الشيخ جوعان بن حمد آل ثاني، رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية القطرية، اليوم، كلًا من سعادة السيد أحمد عبدالرحمن ناصر الشريم، سفير دولة الكويت لدى دولة قطر، وسعادة السيد شين فلاناغان، سفير أستراليا لدى دولة قطر، وذلك كلٌ على حدة.

وجرى خلال اللقاءين استعراض أوجه التعاون بين دولة قطر وكلٍ من دولة الكويت وأستراليا، وسبل تعزيز الشراكة في المجالات الرياضية والأولمبية، إلى جانب مناقشة عدد من الموضوعات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.

H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, met today separately with H.E. Ahmad Abdulrahman Naser Al Shuraim, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the State of Qatar, and H.E. Shane Flanagan, Ambassador of Australia to the State of Qatar.

The meetings reviewed areas of cooperation between the State of Qatar and both the State of Kuwait and Australia, and explored ways to strengthen partnership in the fields of sport and the Olympic Movement, in addition to discussing a number of topics of mutual interest.

أطلقت اللجنة الأولمبية القطرية النسخة الثانية من برنامج "الأدعم الصيفي 2026"، المخصص لأبناء وبنات موظفي اللجنة، والذي تنظمه إدارة الأحداث الرياضية خلال الفترة من 28 يونيو إلى 9 يوليو 2026، بالتعاون مع مؤسسة دوري نجوم قطر، والاتحاد القطري للبولينغ، ومركز "بيرف آب"، وعدد من الاتحادات الرياضية.

ويستهدف البرنامج الأطفال من الفئة العمرية من 8 إلي12 عاماً ضمن المشاركين، فيما خُصصت فئة المتطوعين للشباب من عمر 16 إلى 18 عاماً.
ويهدف البرنامج من خلال المتطوعين من الشباب إلى تنمية روح المسؤولية والعمل الجماعي وتعزيز مهارات القيادة لديهم.

The Qatar Olympic Committee has officially launched the second edition of the Team Qatar Summer 2026' program, reaffirming its commitment to inspiring the next generation through sport, education and community engagement.

Organized by the Sports Events Department from 28 June to 9 July 2026, the initiative is designed for the children of QOC employees and is delivered in collaboration with the Qatar Stars League Foundation, the Qatar Bowling Federation, Perf - Up Centre and several national sports federations.

The programs caters to children aged 8–12, while a dedicated volunteer pathway for participants aged 16–18 focuses on cultivating leadership, responsibility and teamwork through practical experiences.
