🇲🇪 Advancing youth participation in sport governance with YOULEAD
From 22–25 June, the YOULEAD project partners gathered in Podgorica, Montenegro, for a productive Transnational Project Meeting, where they advanced discussions on the finalisation of the National Reports on Youth in Sport Governance across all participating countries.
🤝 A key highlight of the meeting was a roundtable discussion bringing together leading voices from Montenegro’s sport sector to explore how young people can play a more active role in the governance of sport organisations and federations.
The discussion featured:
🏅 Igor Vušurović – Olympic gold medallist (Sydney 2000), former Director responsible for State Administration for Sport and former Secretary General of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee;
🥈 Marija Jovanović – Olympian and London 2012 silver medallist;
🧪 Neda Ojdanić – Director of the Anti-Doping Commission of Montenegro;
♿ Miloš Ranitović – Secretary General of the Paralympic Committee of Montenegro;
🎓 Prof. Dr. Jovan Gardašević – Dean of the Faculty for Sport and Physical Education, University of Montenegro;
👥 Demir Purović – Administrator of the Podgorica Youth Centre;
🎾 Nikoleta Bulatović – Former tennis player, coach and sports manager.
✨ The valuable exchange of experiences and perspectives will contribute to the project’s recommendations for strengthening youth participation, transparency, and good governance in sport organisations across Europe.

🌍 AI Meets Sport Integrity! 🤖🏅
At in Doha, the International Centre for Sport Security (ICSS) and Qatar’s Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (ACTA) launched the Guide on the Use of Artificial Intelligence on Anti-Corruption in Sport — the world’s first framework to harness in protecting sport from corruption.
Developed with the support of
and contributions from global integrity experts, the Guide explores how AI can detect, investigate and prevent match-fixing, financial frauds, and strengthen transparency across sport while upholding ethics and human rights.
