After eight unforgettable years together, our beloved Figura de Lyw stepped onto the truck and began his journey to the next chapter of his life in Sweden. Saying goodbye is never easy, especially to a horse who has meant so much to us.
Figura has given us more than we could ever have imagined. He has givens us three beautiful daughters, unforgettable memories, and the incredible feeling of riding Grand Prix movements with a partner who always gave his heart. So many times I left the competition arena with tears in my eyes—not because of the result, but because I knew he had given me absolutely everything. His honesty, willingness, and generosity were second to none.
What made Figura so special was that he was exactly the same horse at a competition as he was at home: genuine, reliable, and always himself. A true gentleman and such a cool stallion, who could cover a mare one day and perform at the highest level the next. He made us proud time and time again, and we will always be grateful for everything he has given us.
One of the highlights of his journey was the partnership he formed with Malin. Together they became Portuguese Small Tour Champions. They also competed in Advanced one-handed Working Equitation, embracing a completely different discipline with the same willingness, athleticism, and enthusiasm that defined him throughout his career. Figura has always been the kind of horse who gave his all, no matter what was asked of him.
Malin is also about to begin an incredible new adventure of her own, as she prepares to welcome a baby boy in August. We wish both Figura and Malin all the happiness, success, and joy in this new chapter. Thank you, Figura, for every ride, every lesson, every memory, and every moment. You will always have a very special place in our hearts. ❤️
