City used 43 different metrics, combined them into 7 key performance indicators, and then used player clustering to identify profiles most similar to De Bruyne at his peak.

Cherki emerged as one of the closest matches. 🎯

With questions surrounding his mentality and attitude, City also contacted four different coaches and professionals to assess his character and behaviour. One of them even gave a negative assessment. 👀
