Announcing a Partnership: Crazy 88 MMA x Theory Jiu-Jitsu

We're proud to announce a new partnership between Crazy 88 MMA and Theory Jiu-Jitsu, two organizations built on a shared commitment to excellence, integrity, and world-class instruction.

This partnership brings together aligned values and a unified standard of training, expanding access to the best Jiu-Jitsu and combat sports instruction in the area.

As part of this partnership, the Theory Kids Jiu-Jitsu Competition Team will be led by Devin Riley — multiple-time World Champion, Black Belt, and a coach with proven experience developing young competitors. This addition strengthens our joint commitment to building not just skilled athletes, but disciplined, confident young people.

We're excited for what this partnership means for our members, our athletes, and our new bigger community.

🥇🥇🥇🥇 Four Golds for the New York Open crew!

Christian secured his first-ever double gold, capturing both the Super Heavyweight division and the No-Gi Absolute Championship. 🏆🏆

Madeleine brought home gold in the Open Class, showcasing excellent stand-up skills and the dominant control we’ve come to expect from her. 💪

Phil competed the day before in the Gi division and earned another IBJJF weight class gold! He submitted all three opponents! 🥇

Proud of this team’s hard work and performance. Great work, everyone! 🍕🔥

🏆🇺🇸 WKA National Champions!!

Beltus stepped into the boxing ring and put on an incredible performance, winning two hard-fought bouts by decision. He then secured his spot in the championship match with a knockdown in the third round and finished the weekend as a National Champion! 👊🥇

Mckenna also earned a dominant decision victory, showcasing outstanding takedown defense by stuffing nearly a dozen attempts while landing powerful punches throughout the fight. She was originally scheduled to compete again in the finals, but after her opponent withdrew, she was awarded the gold medal and crowned National Champion! 🥇🔥

Proud of the hard work, discipline, and heart these athletes displayed on the national stage. The future is bright! 💪⭐

Your dedication has been an inspiration to our athletes, helping shape not only the next generation of Jiu-Jitsu competitors, but also confident and capable young adults. 💪

This summer, he surprised the entire team with custom competition shirts and presented each of our silver medalists with their own custom competition gi. This was an incredible gesture that meant so much to these athletes. 👕🥋

More importantly, he has shown up every single day to teach classes, lead workouts, and help these kids learn what it means to work together, support one another, and function as a true team. 🤝
