Your nervous system is trying to protect you. 🌙
Not with the tools you have today.
With the tools it learned when you were too young to choose otherwise.
Our brain has a part called the limbic system. It’s the area that records our emotional experiences.
Every experience you go through is recorded in two ways.
Explicit memory.
These are the memories you can consciously remember. You know when it happened, where it happened, and who was there.
And implicit memory.
These are the memories held by the body.
Your nervous system records what you saw, what you felt in your body, the sensations, the emotions, and the survival responses.
All of this information becomes a reference point for the future.
So if, in the past, a defense strategy helped you survive — like fighting, fleeing, or freezing — your body learns that this strategy works.
And it will continue to use it.
Over time, these responses become deeply ingrained patterns within your nervous system.
That’s why sometimes you can feel stuck in certain reactions.
As if your body always responds in the same way.
Somatics + energy healing is powerful for one simple reason.
It shows your nervous system that other possibilities exist. And it clears what is stuck in your body and energy field.
Little by little, the body learns that it no longer has to respond to the world with the same strategies it once needed.
And that’s when something begins to change.
Where there was tension, there can be more ease and flow.
Where you felt stuck, new responses become possible.
Your reactions change.
Your emotions change.
Even your behaviors can transform.
Because your nervous system finally learns that it can function differently.
I’d love to offer you my “Sensitive Nervous Toolkit” a simple one-page cheat sheet with practical tools to help calm your sensitive nervous system whenever you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally shut down.
It’s time to come back to your inner sense of safety. 💜
Comment “TOOLKIT” and I’ll send it to you for free :)

You might think you’re handling stress just fine… but your body may be telling a different story.
Stress doesn’t only affect your thoughts. It can show up in your body, too.
A tight jaw. Poor sleep. Stomach problems. A racing heart. Feeling dizzy.
These signs don’t mean you should panic. But they may be your body’s way of saying, “I need a break.”
Your body isn’t working against you. It may be trying to protect you and get your attention.
✨ Listening to the signs early can help you take better care of yourself before you feel completely overwhelmed.

A few moments from our summer holiday.
I’m so happy to be back in my country, seeing family and friends, eating good food, having longer naps with the kids, and simply enjoying being here. Holidays with kids are not the most relaxing but we are creating memories together and that’s what is the most important.
And honestly… I’ve let go of some of my usual routines and “good habits” while we’ve been away.
And I’m okay with that.
Because sometimes I think we put so much pressure on ourselves to always be doing the “right” things.
Eating perfectly.
Exercising regularly.
Sleeping well.
Keeping our routines.
Staying productive.
And yes, these things matter.
But so does life.
Sometimes life looks like staying up late because you’re talking with people you love.
Eating the food you grew up with.
Having another glass of w**e.
Skipping workout.
Being out of routine.
And letting yourself enjoy it without feeling guilty.
My opinion on that is that taking care of ourselves isn’t about being perfect all the time.
It’s about finding balance.
The goal isn’t to create a life that looks good on paper.
It’s to create a life that actually feels good to live. 🤍
So if your wellness routines look a little different this summer, maybe you don’t need to rush back into “being good.”
Maybe you’re just living.
And maybe that’s exactly what your body, mind and soul needed ✨
Xx
Love
Kelly

Meditation has always been part of my healing journey, and it’s always such a pleasure to create new tracks for you. 💜
It doesn’t have to be complicated, and it doesn’t mean you have to sit for 30 minutes and struggle to quiet your mind.
Sometimes, just a few minutes is enough to come back to yourself, to your breath, your body, and the present moment. To soften, release, and create a little more space within.
Not so long ago, I reached 5,000+ plays on Insight Timer, and I’m honestly so grateful. 🥹
Every listen, every review, every message means so much to me. Thank you for being here and for making these practices part of your journey.
You can explore my meditations for free on the Insight Timer app.

When you go through long periods of stress, fear, grief, or overwhelm, your nervous system can learn to stay on high alert.
Even when life feels calmer, your body may still act like something is wrong.
You might notice:
• constant tiredness
• feeling anxious or on edge
• muscle tension
• trouble sleeping
• digestive changes
• feeling overwhelmed by small things
• pain that seems to get worse when you’re stressed
This doesn’t mean your symptoms are “all in your head.”
Your brain and body are always talking to each other. When your nervous system feels unsafe, it can affect how you experience pain, stress, energy, digestion, and emotions.
That’s why healing is not only about pushing through or trying harder.
Sometimes, your body needs to learn, again and again, that it is safe to slow down.
This can happen through simple practices like breathing, gentle movement, meditation, body awareness, and learning to notice your emotions instead of always pushing them away.
You don’t have to fight your body to heal. You can learn to work with it.
