Vale Del Rei Bridge Group

Great news.
Iggy Gannon who runs a bridge group in Lagoa, has successfully negotiated to take over the running of bridge at the Hotel Vale Del Rei.
He needs your support to recommence play at the Hotel with combined players from his group and our Vale del Rei group from the middle of March.

Sorry that we have continued to be unable to get our group together to play bridge this year. Unfortunately the Hotel closed yesterday until 1st March 2022. But we are hopeful that we will be able to get bridge at the Hotel Vale del Rei reestablished as soon as possible after then.

Sadly the group has now been closed for over a year due to Coronovirus. It is unlikely to reopen before September 2021, and then only if we can find an additional volunteer to help run the group. Thank you to all our friends who supported us in the past.

Hi Everyone. Sorry it has been a while since I posted. Back now. Wonderful weather. We played on a Wednesday very enjoyable. Good to see June and Stephen back. Well done Maureen and Bill. Also thank you Alex for playing with me. Friday was completely different. Very social. Lots of laughter. Thank you everyone

As always at our group some of our valued members left us for a while this week and some of our old friends returned. In a place with such a fluid population that will always be the case. So we are always happy to welcome new players whether just for a week or for longer

Hi. Really interesting week at bridge. Good to welcome some old friends. So good they come back year after year. Friday we had to all get to the hotel early because of the bike race.
So we all had lunch then played. Very enjoyable. Well done Judith and Tony who won on Wednesday. Also to Liz and Utrick for winning on Friday. We will miss you. Hurry back
