The Cascais International J/70 Class Association Summer Cup brought together 17 teams from seven countries for three days of close racing on one of sailing’s most demanding racecourses.

After nine races, North-powered teams swept the podium:

🥉 Aretê, Bruno Bethlem

With the 2026 J/70 World Championship returning to Cascais this September, the Summer Cup offered an early look at the level of competition to come.

“We’ve had some very interesting conditions, closely fought races and some of the best crews in the world competing together,” said Andrade. “It has been excellent preparation for the World Championship.”

The dealership will manly focus in the Optimist market where Faccenda Optimists have a very successful footprint with several world titles, the last one just last Saturday in Morocco where Manuel Bragança from Brazil climbed to the top spot in the podium sailing on a Faccenda as well Margaux Nguyen-Mihn from Hong Kong runner up in the Women’s division. Our Melges 15 were arrived in Riva del Garda for next weekend European Cup & Championship in Riva del Garda. Boats are being rigged with one of the teams hitting the lake waters straight away. 28 teams on the grid and Garda expected to deliver one epic event for the M15s 👊❤️😎. Stay tuned.
