Getting caught by it is part of learning. What matters is what you do in those few seconds. Don't fight the wave. Protect your head. Feet down, eyes on the ocean.

We run through all of it on the sand before anyone gets wet. Saturday after Saturday, it becomes instinct.

Worth saving for your next beach day.
