The best rides deserve the best coffee.
At Musette, every cup starts just around the corner. Our beans are freshly roasted by our friend & local Algarve roaster , bringing exceptional specialty coffee to every espresso, flat white, and filter brew.
Whether you’re heading out for a ride, taking a break, or simply chasing great coffee, you’ll find it here.
Ride. Pause. Sip.
See you at Musette.
A piece of cycling history on our wall — and it belongs right here in the Algarve.
This is Jürgen Roelandts‘ Lotto Soudal Ridley, in the iconic Belgian retro livery first created for the 100th Tour de France — red, the Belgian flag across the frame, black „lug“ detailing nodding to the old steel classics. The team loved it so much they raced those colours for years. Finished with Campagnolo Super Record EPS. A proper jewel.
The best part? Roelandts raced the Volta ao Algarve on this very bike and trained on our roads. Belgian pro pedigree, Algarve tarmac.
That’s exactly what Musette stands for: deep-rooted Belgian cycling culture, brought to the best riding on earth — the terrain, the weather and the landscapes of the Algarve. From the cobbles in our blood to the climbs at our door. 🚴♂️
Come see it in the flesh at the shop.
Our Sardine Collection was created as a celebration of this region — its colours, its traditions, its connection to the sea, and the small local details that make the Algarve feel like home.
Behind it, there’s also a personal story: a tribute to Jerom’s mother, who spent many years coming back to the Algarve and had a real love for this place — and for its famous sardines.
A collection inspired by memory, local culture and the spirit of riding in the Algarve.
Now available at Musette.

Some of the best places in the Algarve can’t be discovered from a car window.
Ride through wild landscapes, quiet backroads, and places you would otherwise never find. Slow down, take it all in, and experience the Algarve from a different perspective.
That’s the kind of adventure we love to share at Musette.

We’re growing our team at Musette.bike
Our bike hub in the West Algarve is getting busier and we’re looking for a few good people to join us for the upcoming season.
Right now we’re hiring for:
• Bike Mechanic – maintaining and preparing our rental fleet, supporting guests with technical issues and keeping bikes running smoothly
• Bike Concierge – supporting cyclists with bike setup, logistics and making sure they have everything they need for a great ride
Musette.bike is a place where cycling, hospitality and good coffee meet. Our guests come from all over the world to ride the incredible roads and trails of the Algarve, and we’re looking for people who enjoy being around bikes and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
If you’re friendly, reliable and like working in an international environment, we’d love to hear from you.

The bike is only part of the story.
Anyone can rent a bike.
What people remember is:
-The first glimpse of the Atlantic.
-The gravel road that seemed to go nowhere.
-The coffee stop in a tiny village.
-The sunset ride back to Lagos.
-The conversations after the ride.
That’s what cycling in Portugal is really about.
And that’s exactly why we love sharing it.
